But beneath this veneer of apparent success, Réda hides a deep sense of unease: he lives in his father's shadow and is unable to say no to him. His brother Fayçal, on the other hand, openly rebels against Youcef and eventually leaves the family home for good, leaving Réda alone with his loneliness and frustration. One day, their father dies and something unexpected happens: Réda's reflection disappears from the mirror.
